Lifebox

Launched in 2011 by four of the world’s leading medical organizations, Lifebox is the only NGO whose primary focus is promoting safer surgery in low-resource countries.

The ‘Make It Zero’ initiative focuses on the need to place a pulse oximeter in each of the 77,000 operating rooms around the world that don’t currently have access to this basic, life-saving piece of technology.
